San Lorenzo Library’s citizenship class grows more and more successful, averaging more than thirty students per week. Instructor Amparo Ramos also teaches at Chabot College. Ramos formerly taught a program of classes at the San Lorenzo Adult School until funding cuts ended them.

San Lorenzo Library’s classes are funded by the San Lorenzo Library Trust Fund. Appreciative new citizens and prospective citizens thank Ramos and the Library each week. The feeling among the student body could not be more heartfelt. Above, enjoy a snapshot of the class and then witness two new citizens receiving due applause and a hug from their teacher.
