Today the library was hosted the Second Annual San Lorenzo Community Spelling Bee. Our Spellmaster, Shauna Shoptaw, returned to quiz participants this year. Entrants rated themselves as either Beginners or Experts. All participants received a pencil. There were two runners-up in each category and each of those was won a book. The first prize in each category won a $50 Borders bookstore gift certificate. Dennis won in the Expert category and Miracris was the winner in the Beginner’s group. Congratulations!
