Didn’t this library close for about 6 months nearly 2 years ago for renovation-expansion-tax payer waste etc. I remember this closure and having to visit the Castro Valley Library because the San Lorenzo Library was closed for ( renovation? ) why did they not wait to do the (Library Expansion Project) back then? Now I get a flyer from Supervisor Wilma Chan in my mailbox for this (NEW) project. How about spending that money on filling up those empty shelves with; lets say.. BOOKS? Castro Valley is so stocked up that they have 3 of the same books with San Lorenzo having zero; Time and time again. How about spending that money on someone to catalog and re-distribution excess. Fill up empty shelves and relieve CV of excess inventory. What a waste.
